I watched The Muppets earlier and I’m sure Feist popped up at one point. I’m not going crazy right she does make an appearance????

There’s always a ton of bros at the gym. They come in groups and stand around the equipment watching each other lift weights. I look like a piece of shit after I’ve finished a session in there but they always tend to leave in pristine condition.
95% of the people I see working out look perfectly fit and healthy. I tend to switch into autodrive when I’m in there; if I spent too...
I don’t know why people fuss over the likes of Morgan Freeman when Werner Herzog is obviously the greatest narrator in the entire world ever

Sometimes tumblr will just collectively turn on someone all of a sudden and I’m sat here like, wait I can’t keep up am I not supposed to like this person anymore or something??????
I don’t understand
why wasn’t Trasnformers Dark side of the Moon nominated for more awards?
And the Oscar for Best Smile goes jointly to Jean Dujardin and Bérénice Bejo for having the NICEST smiles congratulations Jean Dujardin and Bérénice Bejo
I wonder what Rooney Mara is wearing on the red carpet
Last night I woke up in a cold, horrible sweat with the films Crash, Chicago, A Beautiful Mind, Shakespeare In Love and Titanic rushing through my mind. It was awful.

I’ve been sitting in the queue to get a Pulp ticket for 40 minutes now and I just got bored and frustrated so I went and bought a ticket to the Blur/New Order concert in August

I like how Zane Lowe is begging for an OutKast album at the end of that song
Me and Zane are on the same wavelength

Hey it’s been a good start to the year musically but The Shins, The xx, Grizzly Bear and Janelle Monaé are still to come OH BOY. I also think that both Animal Collective and Vampire Weekend need to pull more albums out of their asses. The only thing I really get excited about anymore is music.

Adele’s enormous success is going to inspire a generation of boring female singers who think that turgid piano balladry makes for great music. Why can’t someone like Annie Clark gain a few pounds and take her place instead?

Burial’s slower jams are a moody ride home on an almost-empty night bus with your head against the glass looking at the rain. The more upbeat jams are you and your breath condensation strutting home at 3 am with your hood up.

megafeeling asked: So I'm creeping on your lastfm and I guess the album "Brighter Than Creation's Dark" by Drive-By Truckers is your most played album (not by much though...). So, in short, what draws you to that album (or maybe, if those plays are old, what drew you to it at the time)? Because when I listened to Drive-by Truckers a while ago, I wasn't in love with the music.

Yes yes yes yes yes that’s the beauty of him. It seems like it’s recognizable but it’s so…different from anything you’ll ever hear and like you said “otherworldly”. Ugh he’s just so great ;_;.
When I describe his music to people I always say pretentious things like, “It sounds like the city, it sounds...

Burial has been one of my favorite artists for years now, I count Untrue as one of my top 10 albums of the 2000s, but Kindred is next level. I’m in the same boat as you. I would be surprised to find a release I love more when 2012 is over.
I’ve only recently got into him actually and I really...

Although I find myself loving A LOT of albums each year there aren’t many instances where I can say that I’m truly emotionally invested in one. For example, I could easily name forty or so albums from last year that I loved and enjoyed, but it’s really only Bon Iver’s record that managed to firmly wrap itself around my heart.
Anyway, I’ve been listening to...

I was told last week that it’s vitally important for someone who wants to enter the creative industry to have some sort of “online presence”. My previous blog wasn’t a particularly suitable “online presence”, what with all the cats and such, so that’s gone for good. There are probably more appropriate blogging sites out there which might be better, but I...
